Manager, Corporate Communications

Job Overview Located in our New Jersey headquarters, this position will be a part of the Corporate Communications team ensuring the company's messages are aligned and delivered in accordance with Cantel's strategies and goals. The ideal candidate will, at different times, be a communications strategist, business thought-partner, writer, and project manager. As a key member of the communications team the primary goal is delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This individual will beresponsible for a variety of communication activities for a wide range of issues including proactive corporate communications andinternal employee communications tosupportCantel globally. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any field of academic rigor; Master's degree a plus Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations/communications with an understanding of editorial, business and media cycles Public Relations Agency experience a plus Clear, concise and engaging writing ability Experience communicating ideas through written or verbal communications, including PowerPoint presentations Campaign orientation with experience in supporting business objectives through communications that drive awareness and impact Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage simultaneously longer-term strategic assignments and immediate needs to produce high-quality results in a timely manner Ability to synthesize complex subject matter, translating technical subjects into relatable storylines Critical and creative thinker Applies intellectual curiosity to all aspects of the role Strong consulting skills required for managing multiple client needs and changing priorities in a fast paced environment Strong ability to work independently and responsible for high quality, error free work product Excellent verbal and written communication skills Written portfolio samples required SPECIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS Experience developing and writing multi-channel content including social media; digital content strategy, management and storytelling Experience in and ability to develop and manage relationships with media targets and reporters Executive presence with an ability to work effectively and collaboratively within complex organizations Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite, including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and database analytics Maintain pulse on changes in all relevant markets as tied to Cantel's external profile Establish collaborative working relationships with staff across Cantel Uphold highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with laws and regulations in our related markets   WORKING CONDITIONS This role is located in an office setting. Extended periods of sitting and staring at a computer screen will be required. Domestic travel will be required less than 10% of the time. #CB Responsibilities Develop and execute a global internal communications strategy to inspire, engage, educate and inform global employees across multiple geographies and markets. Manage external communications/PR initiatives to drive awareness about the Cantel brand. Cultivate media relationships and manage media interview opportunities in support of business strategies, as directed. Develop press releases, articles, presentations, and other communications (written, audio and video) to ensure Cantel is well positioned among internal and external stakeholders. Lead company's branding efforts to ensure that the Cantel brand gains awareness and identity in targeted global markets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that internal employee and external communications messages are aligned and delivered in accordance with Cantel's business strategy, goals and policies. Manage communications channels including internet and social media platforms to drive engagement among key stakeholders. Manage company's digital initiatives (e.g. intranet, internet, social media). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
