Senior Financial Analyst

Job Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst position will be a key member of Cantel s newly forming Commercial Finance organization. It will play a critical role by providing business and financial support to the Global Commercial Finance & Sales Operations team for the Endoscopy business. Reporting to the Finance Director, the position will be directly responsible for partnering with business leaders on financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting, reporting, and other day-to-day support as it relates to our sales team and revenue generating activities.   • Four-year degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of combined experience in finance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with strong attention to detail


  • Advanced Degree or CPA preferred
  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion and Cognos
  • Self-starter with passion to continuously improve and solve problems to drive business forward
  • Experience working on cross functional, cross business unit projects
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with strategic mindset
  • Ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment



Core Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Lead and coordinate collection and validation of Global Sales Forecasts, quarter-end pulses, and other estimates on sales revenue.
  • Help to implement and develop standard reporting around a Daily Sales Reporting (DSR), as well as other potential weekly or monthly reporting.
  • Provide Monthly Sales Reporting versus Annual Operating Plan, Prior Year, or most recent Forecast including root cause explanations for variances.
  • Lead Annual Operating Plan process for sales operations.
  • Provide financials for contract quarter business reports (QBRs)
  • Provide customer and regional profitability reports.
  • Support Customer Segmentation analysis.
  • Drive financial reporting and operating rhythm through development of KPIs, standardization of reporting and simplification of current processes
  • Reduce complexity and drive standardization by working with different finance teams globally.

Business Partnership:

  • Partner with key stakeholders and leadership by providing Financial Planning and Analysis support for leaders during monthly, quarterly, and yearly planning cycles
  • Coordinate global finance team on all commercial finance planning and analysis activities.
  • Support Cantel s strategic planning process
  • Participate in business Kaizen events to build process maps and drive productivity projects

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
