Instrument Assembler Repair & Troubleshoot

Performs operations to assemble, rework, repair, wire, test, and calibrate a variety of optical products.

Requires the working knowledge of and use of hand tools, power tools, microscope, and electronic equipment.

Interprets operation sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and written instructions.

Performs own inspections related to in-process assembly as part of methods of operations.

Records own data for acceptable criteria and perform data reduction operations.

Uses a variety of assembly equipment, meters, microscopes, clean room facilities and related processing equipment to maintain customer standards and specifications.

Requires workmanship to conform to AS9100 quality and performance standards.

Performs any other tasks directed by Management to satisfy company objectives.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
