WATER PURIFICATION AND FILTRATION
Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.
HEALTHCARE DISPOSABLES
Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.
Job OverviewThe Contracts Attorney drafts, reviews, negotiates and manages a high volume of medical device related agreements. The scope of contracts includes, but is not limited to, pricing agreements, sales agreements, service agreements, supply agreements, GPO and IDN agreements, HCP consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, and distribution and private label supply agreements. Significant experience in drafting and negotiating contracts is required. The Contracts Attorney also provides legal counsel to division presidents, managers and other business leaders, as needed.Main Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:? Draft, review and negotiate contracts with a primary focus on supporting the sales and marketing divisions? Provide legal counsel to division presidents, managers and other business leaders covering multiple disciplines (corporate/transactional)? Resolve complex legal matters in various practice areas
Depending on experience, duties could also include one or more of the following:? Assist on legal compliance issues? Review and analyze laws, rules and regulations
Primary responsibility is drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and ensuring that contracts are executed in compliance with company policy and applicable laws and regulations
Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues in various agreements
Provide legal counsel to division presidents, managers and other business leaders covering multiple disciplines (corporate/transactional, employment, dispute resolution, etc.)
Research, review and analyze laws, rules and regulations
Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
Monitor compliance with established procedures and identify areas of concern
Provide status reports on all major contracts to Deputy General Counsel and/or contract owner
Qualifications
Juris Doctor Degree and 4 - 6+ years of legal experience is required to fulfill this role
Significant experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts is essential
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while also managing critical deadlines is vital
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required
Strong organizational skills are a prerequisite
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail are required
Ability to build relationships with internal clients and Legal Department personnel is critical
Ability to travel up to 5%
Experience in medical device or other healthcare industry is preferred
Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office Applications experience is preferred
Both law firm and in-house experience is helpful, but not required
Experience with government contracts is helpful, but not required
Experience in M&A is helpful, but not required
Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standards
Further, the candidate must be a self-starter who has the ability to work independently. The candidate must be able to interface effectively with clients, attorneys and other professionals.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
