Reading comprehension-- student likes to read but would like to work on reading comprehension, making sure he understands what he is reading Must be familiar with hyperlexia and work with preschool/kindergarten age children Looking for someone to come to the house in Little Falls NJ in person
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects-- math, reading, general education - Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student - Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to identify areas for improvement - Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience - Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary - Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment Skills:
- Strong tutoring skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner - Ability to effectively educate and engage students of all ages, including those with special education needs - Experience working with ASD/ Hyperlexia students in a one-on-one setting - Strong classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment Job Type:
