Reporting for Duty:
- Arrive on time for your shift and sign in.

Reviewing Instructions:
- Read and familiarize yourself with the shift briefing or daily instructions provided by the supervising officer.
- Clarify any questions or concerns regarding the instructions.
3.
Equipment Check:
- Verify that all monitoring equipment (such as cameras, alarms, access control systems) is functioning correctly.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate personnel for repairs.
4.
Monitoring Procedures:
- Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems to detect and respond to any unusual activities or incidents.
- Follow established protocols for identifying and escalating potential security threats or breaches.
- Maintain situational awareness and remain vigilant throughout your shift.
- Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in a clear and concise manner.

Communication:
- Maintain open and professional communication with other security personnel, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize two-way radios, phones, or other communication devices as required.
- Relay accurate and timely information regarding incidents or emergencies to the appropriate individuals or departments.

Incident Response:
- Follow established procedures for responding to different types of incidents, such as unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, or emergencies.
- Coordinate with other security personnel and emergency responders as necessary.
- Provide accurate information and support to responding personnel.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete incident reports, logs, or any other required documentation promptly and accurately.
- Include details such as date, time, location, parties involved, actions taken, and any witnesses.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations when handling sensitive information.
8.
Shift Handover:
- Conduct a thorough shift handover with the incoming security monitoring personnel.
- Provide a detailed briefing on ongoing incidents, updates, and any relevant information.
- Ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and knowledge transfer.
9.
Training and Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in security monitoring techniques, procedures, and technologies.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends related to security monitoring.
10.
Adherence to Policies and Regulations:
- Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines related to security monitoring.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Skills - CPR and First Aid certification - Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques - Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively - Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and practices - Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus Note:
