Summary:
The Seamer Operator, Second Shift, is responsible for seaming and inspecting the product using appropriate machinery.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Read and follow procedures on customer work order.
Maintain and ensure seaming equipment is clean and in proper operating condition daily.
Prior to seamer setup, ensure all necessary components are available for the job.
Set up seamer, including, loading, making appropriate adjustments, and adjust machine settings according to job specifications.
Visually spot check product for accuracy and/or defects.
Report any concerns or discrepancies to management.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Should be mechanically inclined or have a willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand and use hands to handle or feel Regularly required to reach with hands and arms; talk, hear and smell.
Frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, twist, turn, or crouch.
Frequently required to push and pull carts and racks with and without product and may call for or is assigned assistance if needed and/or as necessary.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
